The Climate Resilience Program aims to improve the resilience of health and human service organisations across Victoria, to plan for natural disasters and the impacts of climate change.
The Program facilitators work with health services, local governments and community service organisations to develop tailored resilience plans improving their preparation for natural disasters and the onset of climate change. It enhances their ability to continue delivery of vital services to vulnerable communities, when the need for these services would be most critical.
This ongoing Program commenced in 2015 and has already reached a broad range of health and human services organisations and local government agencies across Victoria.
